Research progress of flameless combustion technology at home and abroad

Research progress of flameless combustion technology at home and abroad
1、 Foreign research progress.
Japan's high temperature air combustion technology, Germany's flameless oxidation, Italy's mild combustion, the University of Tokyo, the University of Maryland, the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering, the University of Stuttgart and the Netherlands International Flame Research Association (IFRF) and other organizations have studied the technology and formed their own technical characteristics, such as Japan's high temperature air combustion and Germany's flameless oxidation combustion technology, Italy's moderate and enhanced low oxygen dilution combustion technology After 30 years of development, the low nitrogen oxide injection combustion technology in the United States has been widely valued and applied in the fields of energy, chemical industry, metallurgy and other fields, showing great advantages in energy conservation and environmental protection.
2、 Domestic research progress.
Since the 1990s, some science and technology universities, such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Central South University, Beijing Shenwu Thermal Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and other scientific research institutions have been committed to the research of flameless combustion technology and tracking the application research of high-temperature air combustion technology.
Scholars proposed:
① Combine flameless combustion with other efficient and low-pollution combustion methods.
② Improve the conditions of flameless combustion and develop flameless combustion technology with wider application range and simpler method.
Combining flameless combustion technology with oxygen combustion technology can further reduce energy consumption and reduce NOX emissions to a lower level. For example, Tang Chaojun proposed the flameless oxygen combustion technology, that is, using pure oxygen to replace part or all of the combustion air, combined with the new combustion technology of flue gas circulation; Xing Xianjun, from the University of Science and Technology of China, and others combined the fuel and air staged combustion technology to send the burner with honeycomb and porous outlet structure into the secondary fuel to realize the flameless combustion of room temperature air.
In China, most studies have focused on the use of tail gas to preheat air to achieve high temperature and flameless combustion. For example, Qi Zhao of the University of Science and Technology of China and others developed a normal temperature air flameless combustion technology based on the basic idea of ultra-flame combustion, without heating air.
